My Views so far

Hey guys sorry I have been neglecting you as of late I swear there is just no time in the days anymore lol anyway I know your all dying (not really) to see what I think of the 1st quarter of Buc football so I will give you my opinions and easy as pie solution to fixing all our problems ;) First let me say Kudo's to Schi for what an amazing job he's done thus far with our guys both on and off the field I think its just been terrific and I see us on a bright path to success which is great news howeves I don't like the stubborn refusal of not getting LGB more carries, the proof is in the pudding the man can be a game changer and at this stage its exactly what we need. I've looked over the stats and I'm just shocked that this is even acceptable. LGB finished last season with 781 yd's and 5 TD's yet so far this year he's had 13 carries which is not amusing, to make matters worse against Washington Martin was only handed the ball 8 times for 33 yd's this is not the beast running game we were promised is it? I see a simple solution outside of Josh running more which btw last season Freeman rushed for 238 yd's and 4 TD'S which is a lot considering he's only had 22yds so far this season. Give the ball to Blount please! let Martin be the change of pace back and lets see some 2 back sets and roll outside anything other than up the gut, especially Martin since he doesn't get past the first tackler. It seems simple and absolutely necessary if we want to win the D cant play 60 mins and with what might be the lamest 3rd down conversion stats in the NFL I would say OC's job is counting on it. Remember the "20 plus carries will usually result in a win" claim Rah was making last season and he always seemed to be correct well??? I will add more to this later ;) what are your thoughts? Go Bucs!

Gameday Bucs vs Panthers

Are you ready for some football? I sure am and you can find me in section 119 I'm the one always on my feet you cant miss me ;) Look a lot of you think this team lacks heart or is just to young to contend but I think you are going to see a brand new team out there today come 4:25 kickoff which will probably be raining by the way so make sure you have your gear in check! This Schiano team is and will be held accountable for any and all things they do on and off the field which will result in a much more disciplined performance. Will the Bucs beat the Panthers today my heart says yes but it wont be easy, stopping the run will be key and not letting Cam Newton get away with to much early on will set the tone. Shut down the pass (which the rain should assist with) and really get inside the box quick and contain the dynamic duo (Williams and Stewart)Look for Ronde Barber to have a good game since he will be awarded the Ironman award for his 200th consecutive start prior to kickoff this should put some pep in his step ;)Go Bucs!

Training Camp Days 1,2&3

Hi guys hope you have been able to make it out to training camp but if not here's a look at what you've missed. On day 1 (the hottest of the 3) I noticed some of the players had suffered from some mild dehydration its so crazy hot out there and thats why Schiano has such a strict water drinking policy. By days 2 and 3 I didn't notice it as much everyone seemed to be alright. I sit around the 50 yd line its closest to the Offensive drills, I love watching V Jax he's so good he is clearly on his own level,I look forward to when this all counts and he's reeling in TD's and racking up fantasy football points. As for RB LGB and Martin are equally impressive to me some give Martin the edge because of his pass blocking skills but it truly is hard to say which way this will go. Martin has a completely different style of running he hits the hole faster and squirts bye you, LGB is just a beast and hard to stop once he gets going. I wish both men luck and look forward to the 1,2 punch these guys will deliver. Injuries so far are Biggers (foot) and Benn (MCL) I think both are expected to only miss a short amount of time, no word to whether the trade rumors of A.Benn are true that just might be twitter talk. Sidenote**** Its been good seeing Grimm out there, I have high hopes for him and also A. Gaitor who has been impressing the coaches.

Bucs Sign Vincent Jackson

Free Agency started today at 4:00 pm and the Bucs have been rumored to be in talks with 3 different players Carl Nicks, Curtis Lofton and Vincent Jackson. Jackson has just agreed to terms ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Jackson will get $26 million guaranteed as part of a five-year, $55 million deal. This is exactly the kind of guy Josh Freeman needs I'm excited about the fact we now have that speed we were so desperately lacking last season at WR. **Update on Nicks is he was at One Buc tonight talking with coaches but still has a few more teams to meet with. Tomorrow should be interesting Bucs fans ;)
