Redemption

First I want to say thank you to all the Bucs fans who came out and got up on third down and shook the walls off Ray J, the guys need us in these situations and we came through so high five :)Now let me tell you what went down because it was sweet baby :). Following the famous and always a great time WhattheBuc? tailgate which btw had a surprise guest Shawn king in the house, I took my "almost confiscated" pom poms inside about 30 mins before kickoff to watch the guys run out on the field as always. The difference this week would be a game changer in my eyes and that was Tanard Jackson getting to carry the Buc flag last out of the tunnel, something K2 usually does and just the spark our guys needed after last weeks nightmare on Gore street lol. Tampa won the toss and were all set to receive at that point I already knew we would win this game and sure enough #36 was the first man out there :) I cant say enough about the "next man up" motto that Rah has become famous for, we really have a lot of talent on this team and having guys like EG come out and pound the ball and T-Jack getting a pick in the 2nd qtr really just became contagious for these guys and before you knew it everyone was making plays and the fans were loving every minute of it! At the end of the day it was my Buccaneers who killed it! and minute by sweet minute erased the bitter taste of last week from our mouths, we even got the "who dat" chant going and danced like crazy as the guys ran off the field 4-2 and in the drivers seat of the division it really was the best feeling as the song playing in Ray J suggested. Go Bucs!

Pats Win 31-14

I got my season tickets in the mail Thursday just in time for the game, I arrived at the stadium and just in time to enjoy my" above the tunnel" seats :) Blount, Williams and Briscoe put on a show as they came out onto the field dancing and showing out I love that part, its the simple things about football for me like when Kenny Gant used to warmup before games and incorperate dance into his stretching lol it gets me pumped and I can be quite the cheerleader ;) oh and if you sit near me and I see you quiet on 3rd down I will put you on blast ;) The energy in the stadium was dead unfortunatly but I know its only preseason so I'm willing to let it slide a little, the game was boring the Bucs Defense couldn't adjust to the Pats no huddle Offense and were completely lost play after play and our Offense had a hard time adjusting to anything the Pats brought at them, in short it was a long night. I did see promise however Rookie Mason Foster is continually getting better he even put a nice ass hit (legal btw) on Ochocinco he stayed on his feet and led with his shoulder pad he hit him right in the vest area it was perfect! You can read a tweet sent by #85"@Mason_Foster great hit last night. if u're fined I'll reimburse u boss. That's the way the game should b played. Stay healthy n have a good yr" (sic). I love reading player interaction. I also thought McCoy had a good night considering it was his first time playing since last season, he was getting penetration just needs to work on wrapping them up. Larry Asante has been great, he hits hard and everyone knows that is my absolute favorite quality, he leaves it all on the field I believe he even forced a fumble :) In closing I will say this was a great test for our youngries lol I look forward to seeing how well we adjust when we play the Dolphins next Saturday night. Go Bucs!

Shutout In KC

We opened the 2011 season on a high note shutting the Chiefs out 25-0 I know you can't really base anything on a preseason game but it would seem that things have improved since last year. We were able to get in the backfield and disrupt the offense in one way or another the entire game and Mason Foster held his own and even recovered a fumble, he looked great as did Cody Grimm who made some great open field tackles, I'm a little bias though I've been pulling for Grimm since the very beginning. There's still much to prove and our run defense may still need some work but I see improvement and like I said before the game look for a WR to be MVP the best of the night was Dezmon Briscoe he finished 4 for 60. I can't wait to see what happens Thursday night when we host the Patriots this will be an even better test for our D the game starts at 7:30 and will be blacked out locally so I expect to see you there:) Go Bucs!

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog Bucs fans this is my first of the season so I will keep it short and sweet like me ;) Tonite is the night we've all been waiting for and even though it's pre season it feels great and much anticipated. Who will be our WOW player of the game? I always bet on a WR to steal the show and this year will prove to be no different with all the talent working towards that coveted roster spot. I think the most talked about position to watch is the now uncertain MLB position that will be run by rookie Mason Foster or Tyrone McKenzie look for both guys to have success tonite I feel they both posses the right tools to get the job done. Lastly I would like to see the pass rush we've all been waiting for, the in your face I'm gonna make your life a living he'll pass rush. Oh and a your not going anywhere run D would be great to ;) enjoy the game BucsNation I know I will :) Go Bucs!
